Information about speakers:
John Deng, a GW alumnus, is a Deputy Minister of Economic Affairs of Taiwan. Prior to starting in this position in May 2008, John Deng held management positions at Office of Trade Negotiations at Ministry of Economic Affairs; Taipei Economic and Cultural Representative Office in the United States; Permanent Mission of the Separate Customs Territory of Taiwan, Penghu, Kinmen and Matsu to the WTO; Mainland Affairs Council, Executive Yuan, and others.
He has received M.C.L degree from The George Washington University Law School in 1984 and L.L.B from Soochow University in 1974. 
 
Dr. Kwei-Bo Huang received Master of Arts degree in Political Science at The George Washington University (1994-1996). Currently he is an Associate Professor in the Department of Diplomacy, as well as Director of the Center for Foreign Policy Studies, College of International Affairs, National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taipei, Republic of China.  
Dr. Huang received his Ph.D. in Government and Politics from University of Maryland, College Park (Maryland, USA) and B.A. in Diplomacy degree from NCCU.
